This Shibori dyed kimono is a unique piece. First, I cut the fabric into the kimono pieces, and only after testing multiple stitches, I stitched it using my preferred method. Next, I prepared natural indigo dye bath to dye the fabric to the desired degree of blue. And finally, after drying and ironing, I assembled the fabric to make the kimono.
Tools: cotton fabric, indigo dye, threads and needle for stitching, large pots, stovetops, drying racks, sewing machine
