I came up with the idea of this reel to be able to show people the work we do on Uber and explain exactly what it is that we do.

Inspired by the Uber reel, the co-founder of myeatpal wanted a reel that explains what the app does and how it’s not like any other food ordering app.

The graphic design team and I collaborated and worked on this real from concept to final product. I was the only motion designer working on it. We carefully thought out every detail in this reel and tied it in with the story of every company we worked with.

In this project, I worked with raw footage and brought it alive with the different graphic elements and effects. This shot required some rotoscoping, keying, and colour grading, in addition to adding different effects.
Role: Visual effects
In this shot, I received raw footage all shot on a green screen in a studio. I did a lot of keying, and then I brought into it static graphic elements that I animated to match the scene. Finally, I did some colour matching to set the toe for an evening ride.
